April 2024 Room Assignments Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination (RMELE)

 A few weeks prior to the  April 2024 Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination (RMLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) publishes the list of room assignments. 

The April 2024  Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination (RMLE) will be held on April 26, 2024 at PRC testing centers located at NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

NOTE: Report to the school/building assignment before 5:30 A.M. on the first day of the examination to verify your room and seat number. Be punctual. Late examinees will not be admitted

What to wear on the day of exams?

Examinees are required to wear the following attire every examination day:
Male Examinees 
  • White polo shirt or shirts with collar, tucked-in (without any seal, logo or make) 
  • Decent pants or slacks.
Female Examinees - 
  • White blouse or shirts with collar (without any seal, logo or mark) 
  • Decent pants, slacks or skirts.

What to bring on the day of exams?

Here are the things to bring during the examination proper:

  • Notice of Admission 
  • Official Receipt 
  • One (1) piece metered-stamped window mailing envelope
  • Two (2) or more pencils (No. 2)
  •  Ballpens with BLACK ink only 
  • One (1) piece long brown envelope 
  • One (1) piece long transparent/plastic envelope (for keeping your valuables and other allowed items) 
  • Negative RT-PCR Test Results, if applicable, or Certificate of Quarantine or Certificate or copy of the Complete Vaccination Card for fully vaccinated examinees to the proctor on the examination day. 

Prohibited Items Inside the Exam Rooms:

  • Books, notes, review materials, and other printed materials containing coded data/information/formula
  • Calculators which are programmable or with embedded functions especially CASIO FX991ES and CASIO FX-991ES plus
  • APPLE, SAMSUNG AND OTHER SMART WATCHES, CELLULAR PHONES, EARPLUGS, TRANSMITTERS, PORTABLE COMPUTERS, BLUETOOTH AND OTHERELECTRONIC GADGETS/DEVICES WHICH MAY BE USED TO STORE ORRETRIEVE DATA/INFORMATION AND/OR TO COMMUNICATE FOR WHATEVERPURPOSE
  • Bags of any kind (ladies bag, shoulder bags, attache case, backpacks, etc.)
  • Other examination aids not stated in this program.

Coverage of Exams

The April 2024  Master Electrician Licensure Examination (MELE) will cover the following topics:

TECHNICAL SUBJECTS 50% such as: 
Basic Electricity, RA 7920, Tools, Test Equipment, Electrical Measurements, Lighting, Wirings and Materials, Fuses, Breakers, Switches, Motors, Starters, Generators, Transformers, Operation, Working Principles, Maintenance, Transmission and Distribution Lines, Substation, Ohm's Law and others.

PHILIPPINE ELECTRICAL CODE, PARTS 1 and 2 50% including: 
General Installation Requirements, Wiring Methods and Materials, Wiring Devices, Tools and Techniques, Wiring Ampacity and Protection, Equipment for General Use, Special Occupancies, Special Equipment, Special Conditions, Lighting and Wiring, Motor and Generator Wiring Connections, Communications and Signaling Wiring, Electrical Safety and others.
